An examination of the development of horse drawn vehicles from their ancient beginnings up through their demise as a primary means of transportation by the automobile. The wheel was invented approximately 4000 to 3500 BC in Mesopotamia in the late Neolithic Period. From their the evolution continued until we have the variety of tires that we see today.
